About Redwood Hikes Press Maps

Drawn from newly-acquired GPS data, Redwood Hikes maps offer the greatest level of detail of any redwood park trail map. The maps are designed for day hikers and are drawn at a large scale (1:25000 or 1:12500), focus on a small region, and are a manageable size. Each map also includes photos, brief descriptions, and elevation profiles of popular hikes. The maps also include trail distances, footbridges, memorial groves, stairs, and most switchbacks and other trail features longer than 250 feet.
