South Sierra Wilderness Trail Map
Tom Harrison
Another great map from Tom Harrison, dean of California recreation map cartography. This shaded-relief topo map covers the South Sierra Wilderness, a 63,000-acre preserve just south of the Golden Trout Wilderness, plus portions of Golden Trout, Domeland and Sacatar Trail wilderness areas. It includes about 50 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail accessible from Kennedy Meadows and from lightly-used trailheads near Olancha. Also includes South Fork Kern River. All of Tom Harrison’s wonderful maps to California hiking and recreation areas are shaded-relief topographic maps on waterproof plastic. GPS compatible with complete UTM grid.
